Hello
Hi, I'm Graham King
Hi, I’m Graham. I was born in San Francisco in the late 1900’s. When I was 6 months old my two moms moved us to the East Oakland neighborhood of Allendale. We eventually settled into a little Millsmont home right off Seminary Avenue where my sister and I grew up. While attending Skyline High School, I got my first job at KDOL, the Oakland Unified School District’s television station. After school, I actually appeared on live cable TV four days a week on a show called Homework Hotline. Students would call in with their homework questions and I tutored them live on the air while they watched from home. It was a great experience but because only students can be on the show, once I graduated (c/o 2001) I moved over to the production side of the studio where I learned to shoot and edit video. This turned out to be more transformative than I ever imagined.

My Passion
I discovered that video was an art that I could create to make people feel an emotion. I was hooked. That experience lead me to my first career in video production. Over the next 20 years I went on to shoot over 600 weddings as well as productions big and small for organizations like Salesforce, Stanford, UC Berkeley, UCSF, Bay Alarm, Kaiser, and more. Owning a video production company gave me a great firsthand education in marketing. Not only did I have to excel at marketing my own business but I actually got to create marketing materials for other businesses. Perhaps even more important was the experience I got in putting customers first. My customer first focus in everything I did made me the highest rated videographer in the Bay Area.
